Mar 6, 2013
Dreaming of owning your own business but unsure of taking the leap to make it happen?
Kauffman FastTrac wants to help by offering The Intentional Entrepreneur, a four-hour workshop for the aspiring business owner. The pilot session for this new course is March 6th from 4:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation Conference Center, 4801 Rockhill Road, Kansas City, MO
The Intentional Entrepreneur guides participants through the process of new business consideration, exploration and planning. The interactive workshop provides tools to examine both the emotional and practical aspects of business ownership. During the session, participants will:
- assess their entrepreneurial interest
- identify their personal and professional goals; and
- develop the action steps necessary to make business ownership a reality.
Michele Markey, Kauffman FastTrac vice president and creator of the new workshop, will facilitate. During the workshop, participants will explore the ins and outs of business ownership and connect with other aspiring business owners.
"Research consistenly indicates that entrepreneurs and their startups are the primary drivers of economic growth and new jobs in today's economy, "said Alana Muller, president of Kauffman FastTrac. "The Intentional Entrepreneur gives participants the opportunity to take a closer look at the entrepreneurial process before jumping in with both feet."
While the value of the workshop is $125, for this pilot Kauffman FastTrac is charging just $75, which also includes dinner. Space is limited. Register now.
